The team opted for a minimalist design approach to the renovation to sublimate the space with respect to its environment and scenery to embody a lifestyle in harmony with nature. To achieve this, the team did not hesitate to demolish walls and tear up floors to increase the living space. The windows were also reconfigured to brighten up the space and enhance the view.

As for the interiors, they have been designed to create a welcoming and warm atmosphere by selecting textured materials, and soft neutral tones of textiles, all balanced between a modern and vintage style that inspires the Californian lifestyle.

For the property’s bath spaces (four in total), the design team wanted to create a delicate atmosphere through natural textures and soft colors. For example, the primary bathroom that was designed like a sanctuary is accessorized by VOLA 121 and 621 basin faucets in natural brass with a contemporary design that contrasts elegantly with the natural tones of the tiles and the marble sink. The traditional freestanding bathtub is surmounted by the VOLA FS5 tub-filler with a hand shower in the same finish that accentuates the beautiful landscape caught through the window behind it. Nonetheless, the bathroom also features a shower compartment equipped with a VOLA 5261 and 5471R-061 shower rain-head, hand shower, and thermostatic mixer in a matching finish. To add extra touches, the bathroom was equipped with VOLA bath accessories, including VOLA A62 drains, the VOLA T12 paper holders and the VOLA T17 robe hooks.
